A small size with a big purpose--QUNFENG Heavy Industry helps the Beijing Institute of Technology to provide new ideas for waste transfer and build the underground waste compacting station.
The buried waste station is located on the campus of the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), which has a long history and picturesque scenery. However, on this beautiful campus, a large amount of rubbish is generated every day, and how to deal with this rubbish has become an important issue. In order to solve the above problems, this project adopts a double-box buried waste station, which provides a new idea for the construction of municipal small waste stations.
The buried refuse collection station integrates the functions of refuse collection and compression into one, which is automated, efficient, and environmentally friendly. At the same time, the buried design minimizes the impact of the equipment on the campus landscape, enabling it to operate effectively without affecting the campus environment.
The project is equipped with a plant liquid spraying system and a leachate treatment system. The deodorant spraying device is installed at the rubbish unloading port and on top of the rubbish collection box, spraying naturally extracted plant liquid to adsorb odor molecules in the air during operation, effectively reducing odor dispersion during operation. A leachate pumping system is set up at the bottom of the box. Sewage generated during the rubbish storage process is collected in specific containers, after which it can be pumped out to the municipal sewage pipeline or campus sewage treatment system.
The successful application of buried waste stations provides a new solution to the problem of urban waste disposal. At the same time, the buried design and environmental protection concept also make it a very promising waste disposal method.
